How will this setup sound?
On a 2002 WS6:
Hooker LT's, no catalytics, ORY-P, and SLP loudmouth exhaust.

It will sound like...ass. Loud and raspy.

414 RWHP 395 RWTQ- 00 Black Ram Air Trans Am
Get a Hooker CB or Magnaflow on there...Loudmouth, unless you like it REAL loud, will get annoying after a short time. Plus take into consideration other things around you.....neighbors assholes? Cops in the area? etc. etc.

Loudmouth's essentially suck, they only sound good inside the car.

Go to LS1sounds .com - they have sound clips of various exhaust setups - they may have what you are looking for...

I would go some sort of 7/8 headers if you plan on ANY upgrading in the future, leave your stock exhaust on if you worried about the drone of everyday driving and stick that money into a cutout.
Wish I would have done that.........in fact I will sell you my hooker LT's the Y-pipe and the flowmaster exhaust.
That loudmouth is just that LOUD. YES get rid of them cats, but you will have a bit of rasp at 3500rpms in normal driving conditions. Big whoop.

i put hooker LT's, tsp y-pipe, and have the factory cat back......let me tell you sounds wicked, my friend managed to get my keys so he could "move my car".....when i came out off the house i hear him three blocks away WOT....point is sounds pretty damn good its not raspy....I also took out some of the heat shield it has, i only left the shield that covers the gas tank......
