    Steering loose

    My 98 camaro has 64000. I recently got an alignment down and hoped that my steering would stiffen but it hasn't. There is about an inch of play in the steering wheel. The car tracks straight however this play bothers me. What do I need to tighten or replace to correct it? Thanks

    i have the same problem on my 98ss i beleave its the steering shaft
