Midnight Blue- 1998 Camaro Z28 A4
White Dash w/Blue Gauges
I purchased one of these about a month ago and I figured I might as well post about it.

The reason I am posting is, I have not been able to find someone who can install it for me.
I do not trust myself to install it and the dealer said "Screw that!".
I would love to have this thing installed but do not know who to turn to.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I put white faced gauges in my TA (pics in sig) and I'm no mechanic. Didn't read all the instructions but this cant be much harder. Took me a half an hour.

dudde there really not that hard just can be a lil tedieouis the first time. i see that your bought the 1 pc design. just a lil harder to install but better for night vision and accuracy of placement since you cant screw up when applying the overlay.
here is the instructions of the 3pc but all you do different is romove the whole OEM overlays.

its just just popping the 6 needles off and your in.
anything elese please PM me. ive done lots of these including the 1pc that you bought and the 3 pcs stick on's
hope this helps and if that kit didnt come with that lil needle pop off tool. WHICH YOU NEED, i have one in the garage to send if you need it,

I am afraid this is going to be one of those parts that sits in the closet and
collects dust...
Thanks for the input so far folks and I really appreciate any and all info regarding
this piece as I would love to have it installed.

DO NOT POP OFF THE NEEDLES!!! that is the same kit that procarparts sells, its not problem to install. You need to take the gauges out, and take the plastic off. Then, have someone help you point all the needles straight up and slip the over lays on. Scotch tape to hold it (out of sight), and then just wire it into your headlight knob so they only come on with the headlights.
PM me if you need help, it is a piece of cake and will take 30 mins tops!! Hardest part is getting the gauge cluster out without scratching the plastic... which i did doh.

Dropping the steering column (which most gauge install instructions leave out) makes getting the gauge pod out without scratching the plastic easier.

just wired mine right into the headlight control... the hot wire is only hot there when the auto lights are engaged so it worked out good.

Mine came with a completely separate wiring console and a dimmer switch.
It's pretty intimidating of an install to look at and having to screw with the
needles I depend on daily is not my ideal situation of fun.
I would want the whole set installed correctly as intended...
Sad part is, I am willing to pay for a professional install and can't find anyone.
