muncie to ls1
i got a 73 camaro with an ls1 in it is there anyway i could bolt up a muncie to 1 it

The bolt pattern on the back of the motor is the same for the LS1 as it is for the Small Block Chevy. So yes, you can bolt it up.

The issue is finding a bellhousing that will allow the input shaft of the transmission to sit in the back of the crank, too far away will not work and too close will leave a gap between the tranmission and bellhousing.
There should be aftermarket bellhousings available that will allow you to retrofit the Muncie to the LS1. I would look into that.

Probably if anyone will know it would be Kiesler. They do all sorts of conversions.
