Any ideas???
i know this board will proabably be moved or deleted but before they do, Im 16 and want to be around cars as much as possible. Can you give me ideas of what i could do for work to make money and still be around cars. IM tired of making 7.50 working at target. I just want to work on cars and make good money doing it. the only problem is no one is goign to just hire some 16 year with little experience and no degrees in the industry. I love my 98 ss and want to start putting stuff on it.

X2
You need to start at the bottom. Take it from me, who started at the bottom. I worked on cars and heavy equipment when I was a just old enough to understand "righty tighty"-"lefty loosy"! My Dad is a GM tech, so that helped push me into the "hobby" that I call it.
Owning a Classic Muscle car also helped to start learning the basics of mechanics. Your Camaro is a great start in the new world of computer controled vehicles.
Then I worked at a junkyard around 14 years old for part time, then
shitty-ass Pep Boys.
I went to Vo-Tech through High School for automotive, and was accepted into Universal Technical Institute. Its a great place to go.
You just need to get your foot in the door, wether is sweeping the floor, or being someones bitch, show a willingness to learn, and your dream will come true.
