Does anyone have a good idea of what to gap TR55's at?
Just a bolt car.

The correct gap for this plug is .050 to .055.
The gap posted above SHOULD be for the TR6.

? Why ngk tr55s ( not plattum) The OME plugs some say will last longer. 100 K ?
Cost to mush for me to change every year.
Do they make a long life NGK.

I was surprised at the price of them they wasn't but like 2 bucks a piece. I have heard a lot of talk about the iridium plugs anybody know anything about them?

Yeah the NGK's only ran me $14.81 for eight at the local O'reilly's.

You would not want to keep a steel threaded plug going into an aluminum head for more than 2 years anyway, even if you use anti-sieze compound, the heat alone will increase your chances of stripping the threads out of the head when you try to remove the plug.
In my case, my 01 Z28 is not a daily driver, I drive about 3K miles a year, so every 2 years or 6K miles, I change the TR55 plugs.
