    looking for hp answers :)

    Hi all

    My name is Ryan, hello. I bought my 99 trans am about 3 years ago upon the return from my overseas visit and have loved every minute of it. I love the looks it gets and the power it possess so I can tell this is the site for me! Recently, I got my rear handed to me by an 03' or 04' cobra mustang that I know was supercharged. I began scratching my head at the idea of tuning up my beast in order to hand him his rear the next encounter. I have read a lot of different things on how to get cheap horsepower but I don't want cheap CRAP that will eventually hurt my car. I am also an amature at mechanics so I will have to probably pay someone to put on the mods. Can anyone tell me about the best way to go to improve horsepower cheaply but to an extent of not ruining the engine? I appreciate all replies.... thanks

    the easiest thing to so is add nitrous. power adder vs power adder then. if you don't want to go that route, then the standard intake/exhaust stuff. look around in the appropriate forums to see what others have done to get an idea.
