    i need answers!!

i know im posting this in aag, but thats only because i need answers quickly since today i will be ordering parts, and everyone usually looks at aag.

I need to know from those with experience what y pipe will work best with the ebay headers from dna motoring. and where can i get the clamps and how much they usually cost. the ol lady has given me the discover card to order the parts, and i wanna do it today before she changes her mind.

nothing really wrong with ebay headers a lot of people use them and they are a good budget piece anyway... you really need to have a custom y pipe made the reason being is that the collectors on the ebay headers stick up to the floor board a little more that other headers and therefore any existing y pipe would need to be modified to fit. a shop will probably charge you 150 to make one which is what you'd pay anyway and then yooud still need to have it modded to fit. The merge is the hardest part for them to make and if you want to ensure you get a good merge on ur pipe and not some cheapo job from the job get this and have them fab the y pipe to it. the flowmaster merge is regarded as one of the best.

instead of having some dickhead at an exhaust shop make a crimped fugly y with flow merge (what the po did to the formula), just get a tsp y

once again the y wont fit without being modified bacause the collectors point up.... if he gets a quality shop to do it there shouldnt be a problem. go to post 10 it shows how they point up and what has to be done to make it work
