    O2 sensor problem

Just a quick question. Over the past 2 weeks i have had the service engine light come on with the Code P0135 3 times. The booklet says it is an O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction. Bank 1 sensor 1. I was just wondering as to the degree of concern i should have with this problem and what i could do to fix it.
    Thanks

fueling will be off, throttle response will be an issue. check the wires and make sure they arent burnt. you may also need to replace the sensor.

ok. i was expecting the possibility of replacing the sensor. If i replace the one that is malfunctioning, would i have to replace the other one as well?

Do you have LT's? That's a common code with headers. Might want to look at Bosch 13111's. They are supposed to help this problem.

Nope no LTs. I live in california so long tubes are pretty much not an option for my car. But i have heard good things about bosch products. Have to check them out
