Fly or drive?????

Im going to Orlando in a couple of weeks to visit my dad and was wondering if yall think i should drive or fly? I live in BR Louisiana. It gunna be about $200 to drive and $280 to fly. Not really concerned bout teh miles im gunna put on my car and i know when i get there im gunna want my car!!!! But its gunna take 12 hrs to get there rather than 1.5 hrs to fly.
What do yall think???? Drive or fly??

Lmao.... I take it you were watching the same muscle car thing as me on the speed channel this morning. I thought the show was great with its tribute to mustangs and how they are "always" one step ahead of chevy and then they talk about all the special shelby models to keep up with the chevy camaro and chevy corvette...

sorta.. I saw the video that was played at a auto show for the introduction of the car ... If I could take one out for a few days and see what it would do... Sighn me up ...

Leaving fri and coming back sun. I think im gunna drive cause im gunna want my car out there cause theres gunna be some baddass cars there!!! Imma leave at 3 in the morning fri and come back at teh same time sunday! WOOOHOOO!! Just hope my extremely loud exhaust doesnt make me sleepy!!

leaving friday, coming back sunday? FLY! That's a no brainer. It's a 12 hour drive so you're spending literally a full day driving. Even in the Camaro, a road trip gets boring to me if it's more than 4 hours.

If it was a week or something and you were up for it, I'd say maybe drive if you wanted to see all the sites and blah blah blah. This is a 3 day trip, that time will be better spent with your Dad than spent driving to see 'em.

Of course you'll want your car there, but are you planning on spending most of your time there driving around?

IMHO of course.

I fly home to Orlando all the time and have never paid over $200 for my ticket. I say do a little more shopping around and fly the friendly skies.

From experience with my job, I'd drive my car anyday over flying. I flew into Memphis, TN last year and was miserable without my car. Uncle Sam let's us rent a car but a damn Neon isn't much of a chick getting car, I beat the crap outta that little POS though.

I love flying but i have alot of time to drive!!! Free gas and i would have more fun with my car there!! Well be doing some driving when im down there, i might try out Orlando speedway!!!

I drove to florida on my TA from ny.

I drove from White Plains, NY to Destin, FL. Mapquest it and see how many miles that is.

Once I was there, I even went to a 1/8 mile track there. Breakaway.

All eyes were on my car. one of the fastest out-of-state street legal cars there.
