    I dont think its soley based on compression, static or dynamic. I think octane, power, and your H/C combo should be taken into consideration. Personally, I think once you reach over 400hp your running the motor harder and valve events change dramatically with a cam swap. In my cam only ls6 (for the most part a ls6 ) Im running the tr55's, but I think I should go ahead and throw the tr6's in there. When I get my new motor, I will be running tr6's based on all these factors. Id like to give you numbers, but that could easily contridict what I just said. You could easily have a DCR of 8.4ish, SCR of 10.2 and be making over 400rwhp...with your setup, Id try the tr6's and see how they work out for ya.

    Did you ever run with TR55's??

    Thinking about just getting the TR6's and trying them out.

    Ive been running tr55's. Ive been meaning to swap over to the tr6's, but just didnt find time. With my new motor going in in august, Im using the tr6's.

    just over stock on the current motor because I went with ls6 heads, but with the new motor, Ill be running 11.1 scr and about 8.4 dcr. Few other guys I know running Tr6's are running anywhere from stock compression to 11.4. .
