T-56 transmission cooler...??

I'm upgrading all of the efficiency and cooling components in my car; high surface area and flow radiator, fan switch, 160 degree thermostat, electric water pump, etc.

I was wondering if there is a good quality transmission cooler for the T56 that i can put in.

I don't think there is a "kit" for this if thats what you are looking for.It is not too difficult to add for a car crafter, however. I have seen folks use a Tilton electric pump and a Setrab heat exchanger with good results. Placing the exchanger is a good air flow and careful routing / sizing of the feed/return lines( I suggest braided hose)will make the best system.

I work in an industry that supplies transmission coolers for towing vehicles. I have never seen a transmission cooler for a manual transmission.

this doesnt mean there isnt one, or that something couldnt be fabricated. however, finding a production model could prove to be difficult. I think if one were sold, I would be selling it.

Never seen a cooler for a manual. I don't think the fluid is pressurized like an automatic. You would have to fab in an electric pump, like someone else also mentioned.
