Header bolts

Can somebody give me a heads up. I am trying to install some headers on my 87 Iroc and one of the header bolts on the passenger side feels tight but not in all the way but it is going in slowly will it strip out if i continue to tighten it.

Is it cross threaded? It probably isnt a good thing to strip that out so be careful.

Its not cross threaded but it does fell hard to bolt and the more I turn the more it goes in. It just feels hard. Also is there a way to bypass the power steering pump because the A/C Compressor does not go over the header im pulling the compressor but leaving the brackets for the power steering on but I am trying to find a way to install the power steering pump back on.

I would stop while your ahead. Get a tap and die set and clean the threads on the bolt or get a new one and try to re-thread the bolt hole and see what happens. Also try some lube if you havent allready.

If anybody in the dallas area know how to fix this problem and will have time to help me fix this problem I will pay for the help I really dont have time to fix it but i will make some time.
