Most expensive 2002 TA Ever Built?
Check out this one for sale now. 2002 CE TA Convert, sent to GMMG for the works. Total sticker price was originally $89,800.00. I like 4th gens a lot but I don't think I could ever have so much money that I could justify that price to my wife, especially 10 years ago.

I also just realized their opening bid is set at $100,000 which is for more than $10,000 over the original sticker. Yes it is probably 1 of 1. Yes it is probably the most expensive 2002 ever built and yes it has low miles. But it seems to me that no other 4th gens are bringing over original sticker yet no matter how nice they are. I know I paid less than half of the original sticker for mine a couple years ago with just over 6,000 miles. Who the heck thinks this is a good deal?!?

No way I would pay that much for a 4th gen -- I don't care what has been done to it, who did it, or which museum it sat in.

Hmm if I had $100k+ to spend I wouldn't be spending it on a 4th gen, I would be buying a zr1. I could make mine better than than one for less than $100k for sure.

Someone knew GM's shortcomings before the car left the lot. SFC's, Strange 12 bolt, chromoly drive shaft. Not to mention a line lock. The loaded rear view mirror is nice, too. With those miles, it sure didn't drive here from MN. Bad ass TA. 100k? Not only no, but hell no. It would be outrageous at half that price.

The guy that had it built probably got caught up in the hoopla at the time, you know the no more muscle cars, end of an era crap.
Probably figured this would be like the Yenko/Baldwin/Nickey cars of the 60's and 70's.
The problem is everyone thinks like that now and puts this shit in a garage under a cover.
I think $40,000-45,000 is all its worth on the market today.2010 Camaro SIM 2SS/RS A6

IF I was a millionaire, the only thing holding me back from buying would be the convertible factor. Other then that, pretty sweet to have a 4th gen that would whoop on the current ZL1 or GT500 eh, but I guess you can have that for less than 100k including the car in the equation. Is the car even worth that much in parts? Most expensive would the engine(LS7?) right? About 15g's?

My car will whoop on a GT500 I bet and it's a LE. I have WAY less into mine than 100K, car price included

I was thinking where the sanity was in having a Salt Flat special vert was. I am now wondering if it would be better off with the top up or down at 200. Prob be down eventually anyways. As in down on the ground in pieces 4 miles behind you.
