high idle
anyone know what will make my car idle high?
its been doing it the last few days, usually around 1200, but it was as high as 1400 once
its not constant, but its more often than not, ill crank and itll be fine, i leave the house, get to a redlight and itll be high. sometimes if i kill it and restart right away, itll be back to normal, sometimes not.

i cut the A/C off today sitting at a red light, with the idle high, it sunk back to about 1000 when i did that, but my norm is still 850 or 900

agree with the above. Start by checking for vacuum leaks. Clean the MAF as well. Check the PCV tubing aorund the engine.

crap, JUST ran out of that today.
LS6 intake, Pacesetters, TSP rumbler !EGR, !AIR, 295/35 BFG KDW II's, UMI Adj LCAs. Tick Master Cylinder, LS7 Clutch and flywheel, Pro 5.0, Lous short stick, Frost Tune.
