Its a good day tater. :)
I got everything done I planned to do today. Finished 4 loads of laundry, 1 load had 17 pair of underwear in it! Changed my kitty cats litter box, cleaned the down stairs bathroom and even broke out the sweeper. Moved my easy chair and the love seat, picked up the kitchen, and even went to the grocery store.
I am now sitting in the living room in my easy chair, air conditioning is on, drinking a bottle of Frozen Run Birch Beer, one kitty cat on against my leg, the other is on the back of my chair, a few pieces of Spicey Italian cheese curd, my remote, and the ringer is off on the phone.
How coud the afternoon get any better?Last edited by TLS_Addict; 06-11-2011 at 12:10 PM.

Sounds equivalent to my FB post I just made. Good times indeed. I'm off to change the brakes on the Impala. Wish me luck. Never did it on this car before. New pads all around and new rotors on the front. Hoping about an hour and a half to get it done.
Mowed the lawn, cleaned the gutters, did laundry and dishes already today.
Where the hell is Orion when you need him???

Tomorrow I have a 27 hole shoot-out golf tournament with my dad so today I HAD to get this piddly crap done. lol
I will probably mow the yard tomorrow night as well as its getting close to needing it.
Hope to get the garage cleaned this coming week.

Well changing brakes was short lived. There's a fucking torque head bolt holding in the fucking rotor that won't come loose. What a dumb fucking design. Never seen anything like it. Fucking GM.

Makes it less likely the rotor will have lateral runout from people not equally torqueing down the lug nuts. Oh and get a hammer!

I beat the living shit out of it. My torx set I used to try to loosen it actually twisted. Cheap ass tools.
I sprayed it several times. Maybe I'll be able to loosen it in an hr or so.
If not, I'm just going to drill the SOB out.

I am convinced that there is a special place in hell for the guy who came up with Torx bolts
His design has generated more cuss words than the military can even dream up.

I ended up getting the bolts out with a better torx drive my dad had. I put them back in, but I sprayed them first. Hopefully I won't be changing brakes again before I get rid of it
