Thoughts on Silver cars ...
Yea I mean all of them,, Silver, Gray, Metallic, and any other variation ... While I like the look of a Silver/Gray car .. I think it hides the lines of the car ..What you think ??

The model concerns me more than the color

Depends on the car in question. Some cars look blah in silver, others look their best in light metallics.
For example, I think one of the best looking colors on a modern Cadillac is silver. The sharp edgy styling looks great in silver.

Silver hides dirt better than any other color.

I agree silver does hide the dirt, in these pics I didn't wash the car in three or four weeks.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I really like silver. Some cars look a little bland in silver, others look amazing. I'll agree with Cadillac, I think they look great in silver. Also the newer Mercedes cars with the sharper body lines.
I also really like dark silver, or charcoal grey/gunmetal, or whatever you want to call it.
Also, silver goes well with accent colors, whether you do red or black, IMO it's a great look.
And I think it's true about them looking clean longer. I believe pewter is probably the same in that aspect.

I love silver
it wasn't a color that I was too fond of but my car changed my mind... It does hide dirt, but I love the shine it has with a sunny day!!

I think silver vehicles are the hardest ones to see on the road. They just seem to blend in more than any other color vehicle.
But,,, I think it is sharp though.

i think silver is the new black. most cars look good in a silver skin. i still prefer black to silver...but silver is a good 2nd option. it's clean and bright...and during the summer it's not 10 billion degrees inside when you've been in the mall for 10 minutes with the windows up.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
my z28 is pewter... I dont think sliver or any color off of silver hides the body lines.
Silver looks great on cars...
any and all dark (minus matte) hide body lines.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
one final thought on body lines
Its not color that hides body lines, its boring design ideas that lacks body lines
hate saying this but GMs average cars are boring looking.. Yes the CTS V and Vette look good, but rest are crap in the looks department.
even KIA and Hyundai are producing cars with body lines. Gm and other domestic companies need to step it up in body line creativity.
