What other parts are needed for cam install?

I'm leaning towards a MS3 cam for a daily driver. Car has 80k miles and is an auto. I'd just like to do a basic install and was wanting to know what other internal engine parts I will need to purchase. After cam, extra parts, install and tune, what does the price usually end up being?

With 80k miles it is a good idea to do some preventative maintenance while you are in there. These are just ballpark figures...

Camshaft - ~$400
New timing set - ~$100-$150
Gasket set (front cover, water pump, valve covers, etc) - ~ $60
Valvesprings - ~$200
Valve stem seals - ~$40
New hardened pushrods - ~$100
Oil pump (Do not forget o-ring) - ~$100
New crank bolt - ~$5
Gallon of coolant - ~ $5
Oil & filter - ~$20

Prices of install vary from $250-$400.

Price of a tune varies also, $200-$500.

So depending on how many internal pieces to plan to replace, you can look forward to spending about $1k or so on parts...
