I think 5-8k is a very low estimate. If the dings are very minor and the paint and interior are in very good shape closer to 10k.

You're not getting into an 02 WS6 vert for 5k that runs whether it needs a top or not. Perhaps 10k is a bit on the high end depending on how bad the top is but book is 10/11k on that car. I have a vert and I'm getting ready to sell it. I've been looking at what is out there for months and haven't seen a single one priced anywhere near that regardless of the miles or location.

It doesn't matter what it's priced. It matters what they're selling for. Of course, now is the perfect time to sell since it's warming up.
With gas jumping almost $.50/gal overnight and rising, people aren't really looking for a gas guzzler. But you never know, she could get $12k if the right retard is looking for one.

Yep at the end of the day it doesn't matter what we think it's all up to whatever someone is willing to take and whatever someone is willing to pay.

it just depends on the extent of the work needing to be done...if it needs a brand new top, hardware and all, then that's a conservative 1500 dollars to be professionally done if it needs a paint job not touched up then your looking at a conservative 2000 dollars...if this is the case then don't expect anything over 6k
