Fuel System for STS

I am doing a STS system on my 2000 M6 camaro. What fuel pump/system do i go with to make 450-500 hp?

I would suggest the Racetronix fuel pump with the wiring harness.

Injectors should be around 60-lbs. Siemen are a good brand. Some people also use FAST.

You might also want to consider using methanol injection.

What methanol injection do you recommend. Also the kit comes with 42# green top injectors.

AlkyControl - this is the only methonal kit I would purchase.

Injector sizing:

Flow Rate = (HP x BSFC) / (# of Injectors x Max Cycle)

BSFC is "Brake Specific Fuel Consumption and on a F.I. application is generally said to be 0.55. For N.A. the standard figure is 0.45. Max duty cycle on injectors should be no more than 80%, or 0.80.

If you use 500 hp the formula would be:

Flow Rate = (500 x 0.55) / (8 x .080)

Flow Rate = 275 / 6.4

Flow Rate = 42.96 lb/hr injectors

Assuming the horsepower level is accurate, it looks like 42 lb/hr injectors would be pretty close to borderline. Hope this helps.

Thts what im gonning with when i get around to doing my STS system. I was gonna do this before had but wound up doing supporting mods first. Next year i shuold be there
