C5-R rear window
I have a few emails out there right now inquiring into having a C5-R rear window made for me. I'am still waiting for an answer. I went to the pratt and miller website, and there was no where to send an email. So they had some job listings up, I sent a message to human resourses. I had a response today saying that they are interested in my question, and had sent my email off somewhere else. If I don't get a response, to email them back. Thats kinda cool that they are helping the little man out! Or at least looking into it for me. I will keep you all updated.

They don't seem to be responding to me, so I will wait a little while longer. Do you guys and girls think it would look good having the c5r rear window with out a race wing, or would you think it would look kinda goofey?

The C5R window is pretty much in the middle as far as length goes between the c5 and the zo6. I believe that it is a little more rounded at the bottem also. I'am trying to take a few things fror the c5-r and adapt it to my zo6. Ie:hood, front clip, lights, corvette on front window, but not an all out c5r clone.

Ahh ok..a word of warning tho..I am pretty sure not all exterior peices are exchangable..the hood for example..needs a different radiator than stock to work and etc. Why not clone all the way? I assume you are looking to run it at some hpde..in which case id suggest leaving windows etc alone or for last. And focus on trying to get the tires/suspension...I believe p@m and katech either have or can sell you some spare peices if they have them. I looked into the rims and bbk made them for awhile..look around the site or ask p@m ..then get those massive brake setup and suspension....I've always loved the cx.R platforms

No response from them, so I guess it is not going to happen. Put that money towards the procharger.

I was looking on the google and I found a site that builds C5 ZO6 and C5-R lexan windows. The rear window pricing is $415.00. I believe the factory glass window weight is 30lbs front, 20lbs back.

I ordered the c5r body kit and lights off of corvette west online and I will order the window soon. I will post some photos up when I have it all in hand. Any sugestion on wheel sizes? The back will be 3/4" wider each side and the front will be 3" wider each side. I was thinking 18 by 11-12" front and back. Your opinion's please and thankyou.

Body kit and lights will be shipping tommorow. I'am going to install a c5 coupe window. Going to go with custom size 18" by 295 front and rear 18' by 335 forza forged 950's.
