I'm looking for a light for my xd. Anyone have any experience with streamlight or surefire. I've ruled out light laser combos. I can't decide between surefire's x300 and streamlight's tlr-1s. I'm leaning towards the streamlight cause it's cheaper and has strobe

Ya I've got one on my XD. Just a cheap LED light. It switches on from one side(the trigger finger side) and switches off on the other. Think I paid $30 for it at a gun show. Works great tho. I'll throw a pic up you like. SureFire has got to be more expensive.

Yeah surefire is pretty high. I'm just looking for something relatively low profile as far as lights go

Surefire X300 on my carry weapon. M&P 40. Never failed. 0 Issues. I couldn't recommend it enough.

I run a Streamlight TLR-2. I wanted the laser so I can get on target a lot quicker.
