LT1 LS1 conversion
seeing as i just got this 94 TA for such a good deal. i was just kinda curious as too what it would take too convert it too an LS1?
i would assume the motor will bolt right in and everything. i was more worried about the accessories..and if i need a different battery cable wiring harness...anyone had experience with this?

I've heard it's a huge PITA. The biggest problem i've heard people have with swapping is the wiring, but i'm sure more experienced people will chime in

You need the whole front crosmember assembly from a ls1 car, engine, trans, engine wiring, and since yours is a 94 obd1 car, you will probably need the rest of the ls1 car's wiring harness unless you want to do alot of conversion wiring work.

Building a stout sbc 383 stroker would probably be a better option.

Definately understand that.the ls engines are imo the best v8s that gm has ever built.
