Fast Intake and Throttle Body
Hey guys, i'm looking to start doing some upgrades, so intake and tb are next on my list. Any idea where i can get a Fast Intake and Throttle Body Combo for a cheap price? I can't spend ANY over 1000, i'm trying to find it for 800 or 900. 90/90...92/92...102/102, whichever haha. Any sponsors on here have any cheap prices by any chance?

well let me help you out...the 102mm is for ls1/ls3 etc heads...so your gen III heads will not mate.
the fast 90 is solid..the 92 is the updated but no noticeable gains really...now..the fast 90 TB has some issues with throttle(blade) sticking..so stay away..that issue has been fixed with the 92s tb...nick williams TBs are considered the best ..so look into them instead of fast's TBs if you can.
now for the big thing. the fast 9x series intakes will not net you a huge gain over the ls6 until you decide to go with a mild to extreme cam...of course multiply that a set of heads...so depending on your goals a 300 dollar ls6 intake might be a better choice.

Can 92 TB's go on the 90 Intake's? I plan to eventually have a HCI swap or a stroker motor, so i'm just getting all the supporting mods right now. After the Intake and TB, Pacesetter Race LT's and TSP ORY are next on the list, followed by further suspension mods. Here are the mods i have now.
Whisper Lid, Smooth Bellows, 85mm MAF, Koni Single Adjustable Front Shocks, Bilstein Rear Shocks, Thicker Front and Rear Sway Bars, B&M Short Shifter, Centerforce Stage 2 Clutch, Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, Loud Mouth 1 Cat-Back, Firehawk Wide-Oval Street Tires.

well then go ahead and get the intake stuff..but be warned ...depending on what stroker engine you go with ...you might not be able to use the fast 9x series ..for example ..if you go with a ls3 stroker etc..the fast 9x wont work..i also am 90% sure (no pun intended) that the 92 will mate to the 90.

Is the 102 worth the extra money over the 92? I've just got a stock motor right now, and will for a few more years

what would you recommend? save for heads/cam...engine has 135xxx miles on it and don't have the money for that.

exhaust first.
after exhaust then look into fast if you want..or go with a ls6 intake right now ...buy it for 300-400 and run it for a few years until your head and cam combo is ready..then sell the ls6 manifold for 300-400 dollars.
worth noting also...what type of stroker are you planning ? as in what platform you going to run...as that will dictate what heads and especially what intake you will buy.

I already have a cat-back, and LT's and ORY are going to be bought at the same time as the Intake and Throttle Body, along with SFC's. As for the stroker, i'll probaly be getting a 402/408

the problem you will run into is buying the top end for the 402/408 and trying to get them to work well with a 346. as most heads for 402/408 strokers require a 4.010 ish bore ...and the 346 you have 3.898.
and obviously specing a cam for a 402/408 will not be optimal for a 346.
