Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Well, depending on the software, the tune could take a few hours. I know when I had mine done, my tuner had to download the software (HPTuners) and delete the LS1Edit tune in my car. IIRC after my 4th pull it was 2 hours.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
2 hours is fairly common for a dyno tune.

depends on the tunner, depends on after a base tune is down loaded how close it is to what your A/F will be , also your idle speed etc , expect to drop it off and not pick it up for a while or even till the next day.

Labor - $50 an hour. If you watch - $70 an hour. If you worked on it first - leave your credit card.

Sorry, I'll stand there while they tune it. It's my car. I stand right there and watch when my car is getting new tires put on it. I don't care how nice the shop is or how careful the techs are. I still don't trust anyone with my car. Plus I think $300 is too high, at least it is for where I live.

$300 too high? Try $600 where I live. $300 seems a little low to me. And most don't allow you to watch because you're not allowed in the garage - their insurance will not cover you if something happens. Most garages have signs posted that say this. Not that they wouldn't let you, but I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't.

I paid $150 for my tune, and I was there the whole time. All I got was a street tune. If I had gotten a dyno tune it would have been $100 more, but I had to make an appointment, which I really didn't have time to do.

My tunner only charged me $300, hes at $400 now , $400-$500 is about right , some SD forced induction tunes cost more, $600 + because of the time thats involved to get it right.

Well I belong to a local Fbody club and we get a discount. Yeah it's cheap but it's also good. I origianlly had gotten a tune from pcmsforless.com and my car ran but it wasn't good. It was good enough to get it started and moving, that was about it. I called them and they told me it had to be something else, not their tune. I took it down to Ryan and wow, totally different car. He makes a file of your tune so if you ever do any mods you can go back to him and he can adjust accordingly. He's a great guy, and very knowledgeable.
Last of the Breed, I will PM you his number.
