1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
*Pic* Spent 4 hours in the ER with my little boy tonight.
He was playing with his toys and ran across the room with his Elmo doll. He tripped and CRACKED his head on a table. The picture dosen't do it justice. It looked like a purple golfball on his forehead. I've never seen a goose egg that big before! My wife freaked out and I called the hospital and was told to come right in. A few x-rays, complete checkup, and 4 hours later he's doing fine. we were told the entire side of his head might bruise
It could have been ALOT worse!

ehhh... don't worry, that shit'll buff right out. jk
Ouch man, looks like he really took a good hit. Glad he's gonna be okay though. Those head injuries can really be terrible. I've knocked my head a few times, that explains a lot, I know.

I did the exact same thing (almost in the exact same spot!) when I was that age except I ran into the corner of a brick BBQ. Split my forehead wide open and the egg swelled up so big that the ER doctors couldn't stitch it up, they had to put a big butterfly bandage on it. Still have the scar to this day, good thing your boy didn't get cut.
also, I was in shock so they couldn't give me any pain meds so I was in a lot of pain, or so they told me.
After that, I was afraid of anyone wearing a white coat, even the ice cream man.
So when the ice cream man came by, I ran INTO the house as the other kids ran out... ha ha.
Made it through tho. Sarge is right, kids are tough as nails.

Yes I remember those days with my kids, one time we brought our kid to the ER with a big lump on the head. My wife was so nervous cause we brought the other kid in a few days before and saw the same Dr. she said "We don't beat our kids its just a coincedence" these days you got to be careful what you say!!!

Wow, that is one tough little guy! You should buy him something so he forgets about it.
I've still got a scar on top of my head from a downhill wagon racing accident from when I was little.
