valve spring help
im changing my valve springs on my 5.3 i bought the springs for the cam i have.when i went to set them up the manufacture said the installed ht. should be 1.795 they measured to be.10 thosandths more in these heads , they supplied a 15 thousandths shim the question is will this work? will it make the seat pressure more which is 130lbs at 1.795 in height so pinching it 5 thousandths more should be ok ?or should i get a 10 thousandths shim ????????

Your seat pressure will be alittle higher, but aslong as your not at coil bind at your cam's max lift it will be fine

You want to be .050-.060 from coil bind ideally.
