C5 transmission problems
My car is a 1999 corvette amd pushing around 500hp at the engine and the transmission started to mess up after a week of racing. It has the stock trany and it's an automatic. The 3rd gear is starting to slip alot more. I can still drive it under normal conditions, but i need to race so i needed to know if i can just rebuild it stock or should i upgrade it. If i should upgrade what parts should i use. Thanks for any help.

I started to do the trany, but dicided to stop and put everything back because had a view problems along the way. FOund the Transmission replacement steps. Their is over 200 major step andI did not know you have to take off the whole rear of the car and need special tools that I could not get hold of. If anybody wants i can post steps for anybody willing to do their own trany removal.
