SOM- 2002 SS
clickity clunk from rear centre when slowing down
Started noticing this right after I did an on car adjustable panhard bar install myself. I zip tied that brake line etc i can't remember anything else that could be making a noise. I am starting to think its the u joint or the rear diff or possibly something I forgot to do hence the post.. any ideas?

Its probably the torsen carrier inside the rear...they make a odd clicking clacking noise depending on the road conditions as you come to a stop. I noticed if the road suface is uneven pr bumpy it makes the sound much louder.

I guess that could be it. Sometimes it is noisier than other times. I know the torsen diff was an option on the 97 ss what came standard on an 01 z? its a barebones z28. This a cheap fix or is a diff rebuild in order?
