Snow Tires
Could I run Torq Thrust II's which are polished aluminum in the winter with snow and salt? Or will they pit and rust?

I would'nt. The aluminum will oxidize the wheel after the first winter. Eventually the salt will do it's damage between where the tire bead meets the rim. Which can lead to air leakage in that area. Especially when the day comes when replacing the snow tires. The aluminum will be like a white powder under there, making it tough to reseal the bead.
How do it know...been there done that.
Plus I'm one of the guys here that lay that crap down on the roads in the winter. And there isn't any aluminum components on our plow rigging. The steel gets eaten up over time as it is.
I would look for a wheel that is painted or powder coated for your application.
Good luck.
