Water pump install
I'm installing a water pump on my friends 01 SS tomorrow and i was trying to find a write up. I searched, but I didn't come up with anything helpful. Can you guys post up a write up and the tools I'll need?

Water Pump Replacement (5.7L Engine)
Removal Procedure
Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L.
Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .
Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
Reposition the outlet hose clamp at the water outlet.
Remove the outlet hose from the water outlet.
Remove the drive belt tensioner pulley bolts, and pulley from the water pump.
Remove the throttle body heater outlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the water pump bolts.
Remove the water pump.
Remove the water pump gaskets.
Clean and inspect the water pump. Refer to Water Pump Cleaning and Inspection in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L Unit Repair.
Installation Procedure
Install the water pump and gaskets to the engine block.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the water pump bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the water pump bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
Install the throttle body heater outlet hose to the radiator.
Install the drive belt tensioner and bolts to the water pump.
Tighten
Tighten the drive belt tensioner bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
Install the outlet hose to the water outlet.
Position the outlet hose clamp at the water outlet.
Install the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
Install the inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement .
Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
