    Mouse Issues...

    Ok...Recently I bought a new laptop with Vista. I want to use my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse but, everytime I install the USB transmitter...I get the "USB Device Not Recognized" pop up. I have searched the web and have loaded all the recommended driver updates but nothing works. The mouse will work if I reboot the computer but only for a short period of time. I have tried the mouse on other computers (non Vista) and it works fine. So, I know it's not the mouse. Any ideas? Should I just get a new mouse? If so...any recomendations that don't cost an arm and a leg?

    i had issues with something like that...just make sure that under your device manager ..that it isnt disabled..and that the program that comes with the mouse is running and properly set up.

    Ok...I found the device manager but the only thing that it lists is the touch pad. I cant find the mouse. This is getting annoying...
