Stock Breaks
***edit*** damn it...i spelled Brakes wrong...GOD I'M RETARDED!
my rotors are pretty good right now, i was thinking about getting some new pads or possibly new calipers. Reason being things feel just a bit loose when i hit the breaks at any speed; by loose i mean slow to react. normally they grab at the top of the pedal, now i have to travel mid way before i feel them catch and about 3/4 for complete grab.
do i even need new breaks or do they just need bled. thanks!
oh yeah, 2000 ws6 with almost 100k on it. I bought it about 1.5 years at 68k miles and they had resurfaced the break rotors. They still shine today.Last edited by third_shift|studios; 01-17-2006 at 05:34 AM.

Black- 1998 Trans Am WS6
defnitely do pads and rotors
No point to do calipers unless you are upgrading your brakes for bigger rotors.
The reason it seems slower to react is cuz there is less pad/rotor than before, so the space between them is further which means you need to push the pedal harder to get the same effect.
If that doesnt totally solve the problem then I would suggest bleeding the system.
Good luck
