Throttle body bypass?
Is it really worth doing a throttle body bypass? What's the advantage? performance gains?

I did it as well. Can't feel anything performance wise except the throttle body staying cooler.

Did mine too. Cheap and easy hp. Just not the seat in the pants kind, but every little bit helps.

Dyno testing shows about a 5HP gain across the powerband (at operating temp) on an LT1. I'd expect similar results from the LS1...

Thanks! by the way what size headers r u using? Did u also purchase the o2 extensions? I a few weeks away from puirchasing ceramic coated pacesetters. My mechanic frinds tell me to go with 1 5/8". I think most people in this forum r using 1 3/4"

Pacesetter long tubes only come in 1 3/4". Mid tubes are 1 5/8". Here's their website: http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/camaro.php

It is cheap and easy, plan on doing mine this week, after all every little bit helps. Especially, if you can add alot of little bits
