oh no ,its time to upgrade some shit
so i killed my car at the track the other night
its making a loud popping noise that sounds like its coming from the rear axle
i changed the u joints checked the rear end gears and changed the fluid everything seemed to be in good order
it only makes the popping noise at higher rpms and when your coming to a stop or slowing down
i dont think i broke an axle or it would make noise all the time plus i drove it home it is definitely something that is rotating clutch maybe?
any ideas would be great im done tearing in to it for this weekend and need some fresh ideas

Its Not The U Joints ,its Not The Wheel Bearings, And Its Not The Rear End Fluid

Im Thinking Its Got To Be A Bent Driveline Or Something Now

Crawl underneath the car and push up on the transmission and chech the tranny mount. Mine went bad and the transmission would slam the underbody sounding like a popping noise.

Can you put the car on jack stands and run it through the gears and hear the noise? Or does it have to have a load on it to pop?

I don't know man, Sounds like something you need to get a buddy help you find. Unless you can get a video of the noise I think were out of suggestions.
