Possible solutions for cylinder misfires
I was thinking since I see so many people (me included) posting about cylinder misfires it would be pertinent to have a thead that stated possible causes so it would eliminate some of those theads.
Possible causes:
1.Spark plug
2.Spark plug wire
3.Coil pack
4.Fuel Injector
5.Dirty MAF
6.Bad connection to the wire harness from the coils
Feel free to post additional causes and I will edit my post and put them up top. Perhaps this can become a sticky so people won't waste time trying to figure out may be causing the problems. I know the list isn't technically complete but I am hoping for input so it will be.Last edited by 98TransAmWs-6; 10-18-2010 at 01:14 PM.
