Electrical Problem
I have a 2000 WS-6 that has an electrical problem. Every time I hit a bump in the road the radio shuts off, the antanna goes down and the power windows will not work. This has happened several times, I can hit the dash hard and it will come back on. I know that it has to be a loose wire some where on the car, but I dont know where to look or how to fix it. Has anybody here ran in to this same problem? Or know somebody that has? Any help would be appericated

Sounds like a bad ground... Do you have an aftermarket stereo in it? I'd check there first

It's not an aftermarket stereo, its the stock monsoon system. Where would I check for the ground at?

the stero and windows are an the same fuse, check there to see if its become unseated. Grounds are generally grouped together look around the mounting studs for the dash.

Looked through my factory service manulas, I was wrong the windows are on thery own fuse but there is a possible ground as best as I can figure on each side behind the kick panel and on the dash near the centre console.

It is probably a bad ground or loose connection to the bcm. Windows and stereo go through it.

From what I have heard there is a lose connection in the box above the passanger legs. You have to take the box out and make sure the connection is not lose. I'm not sure but this is what I have heard. I am having the same problem.

Whats up Fellas, just an update about this electrical problem. I read a post a while back about the BCM having a lose or broke soildering joint.....That was 100% the problem. If your having this problem of hitting a bump in the road the radio shuts off, the antanna goes down and the power windows will not work all you have to do is remove the BCM take it out of the protective case and look for the crack in the soilding. If I can do this anyone can lol, it honestly took about 5 min to fix this problem. Its good to know that its a simple fix for such a f@cking pain in the ass!!
