Spool rearends
So who in here drives around with a spool just seeing how everyone likes them and the precautions they take driving

They are hard on axles, so at a mimimum I'd prefer a set of aftermarket axles. I don't care for them on wet or even damp roads either. Fair weather driving only. On and off exit ramps at speed can get exciting too even on dry pavement.
Personally, I'd never recommend it in a street car.

My friend street drives a Lock Right in his '70 Dart and, other than an audible clicking on corners, has been bullet proof for almost 30,000 miles. That would be a better choice than a spool imo.
