    suspension noise i think??????

I ordered the UMI 3-point sfc's. The car handles great and feels alot more solid, however, since having them installed, I keep getting this banging noise that sounds like it's coming from under the drivers seat, as if the sfc's are hitting the bottom of the car or something. It's not very consistent, and sometimes it's worse then others. Love the product, don't love the weird banging noise. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Anyone else having this same issue????

So I take it you didn't have this issue prior to the install. Are they bolt or weld in?

If there bolt in try retorquing the bolts and check for other clearance issues. Sometimes if parts are installed on a lift or stands the chassis isn't loaded but once lowered back down and driven things settle and shift and need to be retorqu'd.

I say it is your lower control arm thru bolts not being tight enough. Are your sfc's bolt or weld in?

their the weld-ins. when i finally get some time off work i'll have to try to crank on those bolts, and hopefully that resolves the issue. thanks for all the advice.

    Hello
Sorry to hear about the noise issue. Seeing how they are the weld on version. I would suggest trying to torque down the hardware to 90ft lbs. That is the only thing it can be and its just transferring the noise through that chassis. But I am sure once they are tightened the problem will stop. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or give me a call. I will be in the office M-F 8am-4:30pm EST.
    Thanks
    Brad
