Those look like like purse, and jean marks on the hood. My buddies car had the same markings on the hood when his female would put her purse on the hood then drag it off. The ones real close together look like jeans marks because i usually see those on trunks of cars where people sit with jeans on then when they slide off they leave that nice close together scratch.

Good times, man. Anytime. No thanks needed. It was fun and a learning experience. That lost socket ever turn up or is it still probably on the k-member? If I'm down there sometime again I'll drop by. Keep posting about the re-paint and how it looks!

Well if you notice in the first hood pics those appear to be downward sliding like they are sliding off the hood because they are all near the nose and not going up to the windshield.

So my guess is someone sat on the hood then slide thier ass off when standing back up.

Really there is alot of damage and not all of it done at one time because the way the scratches go. If it was a gravel truck or a "accident" you would have atleast more than a couple of scratches that were scratched upward instead of down...unless she drives the car in reverse everywhere.

yeah, I just found out that my rollcage was damaged also and it had to be taken out and sent out for powdercoating Your right, at least I will come home to a nice new paint job, but I didnt want it to happen this way.

my first guess was cardboard boxxes...we had a system installed im my GF'S mint 98 black f 150 flare side...they slid the speaker boxxes on the back bed cover...made scratches just like that...the deeper oines are from the staples in the bottem of some boxxes.
