Two gear race and I hit 3rd hard enough to hit the low trac light
No driver mod needed = 2nd/3rd gear! That truck was a monster for a stock truck
Obviously the more gears I went through, the worse I would have pulled but he had taken many a vehicle while he owned it
Now he has a dynoed 640hp 1XXX tq duramax and a 6XXhp 7XXtq 69 Camaro

According to a Road and Track mag article fuel milage and octane rating have nothing to do with each other. If your vehicle is suppose to take 91 octane fuel and you put a lower grade of fuel it wont affect fuel mileage only horsepower.

I don't know that I would call him a fucktard.
Just someone that isn't up on the advantages of aluminum motors.
I run 11:1.
91 octane.
31 degrees of timing. (altitude allows for a few extra)
This is how it works.
Only use what you need too. If your car runs fine and DOES NOT ping on 85 octane...use that. If it does, go to mid-grade.

But if the knock sensors detect pinging they add knock retard and you shouldn't be able to notice pinging. So you'll cut power and mileage
