So you mean you like them correct? 455 stage 1 is my favorite American motor by far. If one (or even a passenger car 455) showed up under my truck's hood over night, I would straight up bust a nut. Then sport wood for the rest of the week.

The 86 IROC is IMHO a pretty car. They just need driver mods and mechanic mod too. lol

the Buick 350 is an undersquare heavy wide fat dog. If you want to hitch up to a tree stump and pull it out with your 4 door passenger car, use the buick 350. the 455 and the nailheads are nice. my first v8 was a buick 455 and it was insane.

I was saying if a stage 1 455 showed up under my hood I wouldn't mind, or even a passenger car 455. No 350 Buick for me, I knew that. Olds 350 is more oversquare than a sbc 350. I was looking at some old GM engine specs today and when '72 rolled around, both the Chev's and Buick's compression were down to 8.5:1 my truck engine made 175/290, Buick was 195/290. Don't even mention price, parts availability, and upgradeability. All BOP 455's are insane, I would love to have any variation of those three under the hood of my truck. Gm built great truck motors, they just never put them in trucks.. What kind of car was your 455?

I love those, would love to have one. 403 olds motor is a BB and 455 would drop right in unnoticed. I always wanted a second gen. I had one for one day two years ago. Bought it from a neighbor and a customer made me an offer I couldn't refuse the next day. He transformed it into a 71 z28 clone and did a fricking great job.
