How did you get the tint to cover around the soft corners and bends? When I tried, it would just bubble and wrinkle.

If you look at the inside of the passenger light, you'll see two "fisheyes", or airbubbles under the paint. I was pissed when I saw those. I tried my best to keep my fingers off of the lights while I was painting, but I guess I wasn't careful enough. I have to take it off, sand it down in those areas, and repaint. Luckily, they are located where there is straight black paint, so I don't have to worry about evening out the VHT.

Edit: Oh, and ignore the dirtiness of my car, like I said, It's been sitting in my garage for 3 months

WS 666? What's up with that? U da devil?

I had them tinted by a 3M auto shield dealer.

Well I'm sure that's your problem. There could be any number of chemicals under your VHT that are trying to leach out.

Recommendation: Sand off and try again.

the prob is the resolution needs to be so low, i cant take those with my camera, but i didnt do anything to the reverse lights like ls1 camino did, just vht'd them and now everytime i get in, I gotta walk around the back of the car and go damn that looks nice. I also painted the bird on the front liscense plate cover and the trans am logos on the doors black.

Can you wet sand the VHT ?

Just so anyone from Texas knows there are no state laws that I could see that would prevent someone from doing this other then the distance of maxium visabilty( how far away you can se the light being emmitted).
Tell the officer to prove it................in court lol

Upload the pics to http://www.pimpandhost.com. Once uploaded, there is a box on the right side of each pic that allows you to resize it for posting. Something like 800 x 600 works well.

Depends on the size of your original pic file. When I remember, I change the settings on my camera to drop it down from "Fine" to "Standard" picture qaulity so I do not have this issue.

you know what might work? Use your high mount brake light for the reverse light just rewire it, and paint the top the saem color as your car. just have to figure out how to make the red white.
