Jetstream Blue Metallic- 2008 Z06 Corvette
I'm running LT SLP's and it's true they hang really low, with next to no ground clearance, especially if you are planning on dropping your car as I did to the tune of 1.8" with Eibach's Sportline springs. I have them going into hi-flo cats though, even though they aren't required here in Washington, I'm an old California boy myself, and I figure it's my way of helping a little bit to keep the air cleaner here in the great Pacific Northwset. Anyway, after the cats they go into a LM 1 sytem, and it is LOUD..but not as raspy as you hear they are without the cats. Not too bad around town, and I do get the pleasure of really hearing my cam "talking" to me at an idle. When I floor the loud petal though, you can hear what sounds like a NASCAR coming for blocks! I love it! Best of both worlds, and you can buy the muffler later and replace the resonator if it's too loud, and basically turn it into a LM 2 system. The biggest drawback is the complete lack of ground clearance. It is with my car, at the cats, as if you took your key fob and turned it sideways. I can ALMOST fit that in there, between the ground and the cat.

no its just basically a cat back, 3 inches in to 2.5 to chambered mufflers, great flowing system and sounding, towards the end is a clip of my car bone stock with my cme tips.
compared to a loudmouth, at idle and low rpm's the tone is relatively similar except the gmmg doesnt drone or resonate at all. upon wot acceleration under load, it gives off a different old school muscle car sound if you will, kinda hard to explain, go to ls1sounds.com and listen for youself, i know hearing them on the comp doesnt compare but it gives you an idea,
on the gmmg section check the first one out, with the jet hot lt's and mild cam, i love that sound clip

get the gmmg... i had the lm1 on a 99 SS and a 98 Z28, didn't think I would ever get anything else... then I heard my gmmg. like someone said earlier, sounds just as mean at WOT, no resonance under normal driving conditions.
go to ls1sounds.com, they have a ton of clips, all catbacks
