To be more specific, it's a chambered muffler, much like the chambered system offered as an OEM option back in 1969 for a short period of time on camaros and chevelles. Was also the same type muffler used in all the optional sidepipe vettes from 65-70. There is a manufacture now that reproduces these systems for the old iron.
GMMG repops it now for the 4th gens. It was louder back then but it's still loud now

You have to hit the > " < button first, it's the button to the right of the one spelled quote....you can grab as many as you want...and then hit the quote button. see above I did it twice before hitting quote. You can do it man...LOL
