sail speakers

Does anyone know if you have to cut or drill anything to put those kicker subs in the sail panels? If not I am getting a set for my camaro.

Shouldn't have to....worst case you need to drill a hole or two.

In regard to post #19, wouldn't you just wire the two positive wires to the positive post and the two negative wires to the negative post instead of just using one pair of wires for the single voice-coil, or would you run the risk of blowing up the sub? I'm just about to make a purchase for a pair of the Kicker CompVT 6.5 and I'm trying to get as much info as I can. The Kicker website is fairly informative, but true user experience carries a lot of weight.
