MT DR's come in 2 tread paterns now... different sizes are aval for each pattern

275/40 17's are not avail in the new tread style

I voted Nittos for milaege reasons cause for "street tire" I assume you mean car is driven alot on the street.

I launched a 2.07 60' with my proxies and 2.73 gears. whoever ran a 2.3 on nittos needs to learn how to drive. I plan on getting the MTs but that's because I only ask for perfection out of my tires for speed when I am pounding the hell out of it at the track not because I wanna be an idiot and street race. my other tires do just fine

The Nittos did okay for me but soon after I went for the BFG drag radials because it was the best hooking radial tire at the time (MT wasn't making one yet) But when the MT drag radials came out I decided to try a pair. Awsome tire, hooks great at the track with 1.59 short times. I drive the car on the street regularly with these tires, and it takes a little more finess on the street but they work well and do a decent job of keeping me between the ditches. I have been caught in the rain, (not intentional) and I had to take it slow,,,but thats not what these tires are about.
From here on out I plan to stick with the MT's unless they come out with something even better. I don't care so much about mileage though. Larry.
