Many many years ago I helped a buddy do it to his car. If you do it slowly, and with the engine held up in the revs, it wont hurt anything. It didnt hurt his car, but I also cant quantify any possible gains that came out of it either, if any.

Thanks for the tip...I do know that after my Seafoaming the cars throttle response and general pull felt increased a little....Like it just free`d up the sticky stuff- If there was any Im the original owner of my 02 SS -66,000 mi. and have been real anal about oil changes and cleaning additives etc so i dont think it had that much carbon build up to begin with i just read about it and did it...so far so good.

How do you use it? Same way as Seafoam? Through Master vac hose or Pvc ?

Maybe they sell it in a way to use it like that, but that isnt the right way. When I've used it, you mix it with some gas into a small pressurized canister that plugs directly into the fuel rail and the engine runs directly off of that. Goes directly through the injectors and evenly into all cylinders.

For years you've been able to get it in a can about the same size as Seafoam annd use it in the same manner. But yeah in the dealer they use it the way you described.
