One downside is I hear Silver is the hardest color to match.

Without a lot of hassle yeah. White would be my choice after Pewter, shows dirt less. Black is too much fuckin' work. I LOVE a black WS6 but I don't have the time for all the work involved. Did they make the midnight blue until '02? It's okay but looks like a lot of work too. Red shows too many scratches and dings.

Depends on what the model is. In some cases I think Silver makes it look plain, boring, and common. Black on the other hand I think ALWAYS looks good.

The color is too common among sedans and therefore makes sports cars look less sporty. But stripes make it okay with me.

100% agree .. So many cars nowdays with no stripes .. A good decal kit can really bring any color car alive

I like silver and it is much easier to keep clean because it does not look dirty even when it really is. The problem I have - hard to get a set of rims that standout. Rims will pretty much be same color as the car unless you go black. I kind of like the idea of rims standing out and adding to the overall car look.
