Agreed on the above, do not waste your time on anyting less than a 3000 stall. I also have a TCI 3600 stall. I have used Yank convertors also and that was a good one as well.
As far as the rear end I have a Moser 12 bolt but my stocker actually never failed. I changed my rear end out before I was left at the track one day after a break. If you start getting more mods and all and especially with a TC you should start looking into a Moser or Strange.98 T/A: HPE 5.3 Heads, 238/242 113 cam, Kooks 1 7/8 stepped LT headers, Custom Y pipe, Cut out, Borla, NW 90MM TB, FAST 90MM Intake, TB Bypass, Under Drive Power steering and Crank, 150 Dry NOS, Yella Terra rockers, 3400 TC, HPE tuning,

opps, sorry, just like every other fireslough owner( that also has his car number in his username) you are correct in giving answers. instead of stating an opinion on a stall, you tell him to use search, this isnt the other ls website.
dickheads like you are of zero use to this or any other site
i guess if i was a hawk owner, id be pissed also, overpaying for an f-body and all.

No, sorry 241 is not my car number. I thought the reason for being able to view the posts was to read and hopefully learn, which is why I was making the suggestion, since his question "on what stalls guys are using" is the number one sticky! F.Y.I., Overpay for the hawk...I bought the car with 19,000 miles on it, and stole it from the guy. Maybe you can explain to all of us how to overpay for an f-body, we love these cars, they dont make them anymore and we pay for our passion.

Custom Slate Blue- 99 B4C
VIG 3600 here. great stall. make sure you get a lockup. Don't be scared and go smaller, driving slow my car almost drives like it's got the stock stall so there is no reason to go smaller. Just get a good stall. TCI has been having TONS of problems lately and it's recommended not to use them by Texas Speed. Other brands of cheap stall stall too freely and you feel like you're reving way too high all the time. you get what you pay for

Nothing wrong with teaching a man to fish.
I'm not sure where this overpay for your Hawk came from, but I pretty much got mine at the cost of a Trans Am, and actually was less than what the WS6 with the Collectors Edition package before I got the deal. It's just not cool knocking eachothers rides. We are all car fans, just keep it clean and everyone will be able to enjoy their differences.
I am not a Mustang fan, but if someone has a nice car, and it happens to be a Stang, then I don't try to publicly humiliate them on a message forum unless all are aware of it being in good fun. This trash-talk is distasteful and is why I stopped reading the LS1 forums for a few years. I get sick of this so fast I wish the SLP forum was still up. This stuff didn't happen on there.
That's my $0.02 worth!

PI vigilante 3600. As far as rear/gears go Moser 9 inch with probably a 3.70 (ordering the chunk tuesday haven't decided on the 3.70 or 3.89 yet, got the 9 inch sitting on the porch though just waiting on the $ to get here for the chunk )

Nice choice, thinkin about the same one, I have 3.23's also, let me know how your launch is racing wise, I believe your going to want drag radials or E.T. streets...
